CBD Is Not Working For Me – Why You Need To Build It Up In Your System

Why You Need To Build CBD Up In Your System

So everyone is talking about how great CBD is working for them, and so you decide to try some yourself?

But Alas!

Nothing happens. You are expecting something to happen (anything!), but you don’t look or feel any different!

So you wonder, does CBD oil work at all? A few days later, you’re convinced CBD is a well-orchestrated scam designed to leave your wallet dry.

And so, you, like most other impatient people, give up and abandon CBD.

But maybe, if you have read this article, you might have realized that CBD works differently for everyone. Others might use it now and experience effects instantly, but others have to use it for a few days, weeks, or even months to get the desired results.

So, what exactly affects how fast we experience results after using CBD? Does CBD need to build up in your system?

Well, why don’t you read this article just further to get answers to all these questions?

Building Up To Your Proper Dosage

One of the main reasons why CBD doesn’t seem to work for most people is the lack of proper dosage guidelines.

Unfortunately, there’s no one-size-fits-all CBD dosage recommendation; you have to build up to your proper dosage.

This is because CBD affects people differently, and what works for you may not work for me.

So how do you figure out the best CBD dosage for you?

The quickest way to get an ideal dosage idea is to talk with an expert. Now, this may not give you the exact answer you’re looking for, but it will provide you with an idea of where to start.

When we talk about improper CBD dosage, we mean either overdosing or under-dosing- both instances will give you a bad experience.

When you take less than the required amount, you most likely won’t experience any effects.

On the other hand, a too heavy CBD dosage may cause you to build a tolerance. This means that when you take a lower dosage in the future, it will not work for you.

It’s recommended that you start with the lowest possible dosage, then build your way up.

This could mean starting maybe with 15 to 30 mg a day (or as per the manufacturer’s recommendations). After a week, increase your intake with about 5mg of CBD. Continue this until when you achieve the desired results.

It’s also advisable that you keep track of the amount of CBD you consume each day, and how it makes you feel.

Other Possible Reasons Why CBD Is Not Working For You

So even after using CBD consistently, you’re yet to achieve the desired results? Don’t give up yet; the following factors could be the reason:

Low-Quality CBD Product

CBD is everywhere. You can quickly get it from your local dispensary or just order one online.

Unfortunately, the hemp sector is highly unregulated, meaning it’s up to you to ensure you’re getting the right product.

In an analysis of 84 ‘CBD’ products, it was discovered that almost 70% of them had different amounts of CBD than the one advertised.

This is not the worst-case scenario, though; some products may have artificial ingredients that may be harmful to you.

So how do you spot the best CBD product?

  • Check the certificates of analysis from 3rd party independent labs-Don’t let anyone tell you how potent their product is; let them prove that!

3rd party independent lab results should indicate, among other things, the source of hemp, CBD concentration, as well as other ingredients used.

  • Go with a reputable brand– Be wary of brands that are popping up everywhere. It doesn’t mean a new company must be bad, but you will be more confident working with an established brand. Check online reviews, what are other clients saying about the company? What about their products?

If you have to go with a less established company, make sure to check the certificates of analysis.

Consumption Method

Maybe it’s time to change the delivery method?

If you have been trying one form of CBD with no luck, you should consider other CBD consumption methods.

Different CBD delivery methods affect bioavailability, which refers to the amount of CBD that’s available for use by the body.

Edibles have the lowest bioavailability since they have to be digested before Cannabidiol can get into the bloodstream.

Tinctures, on the other hand, deliver CBD directly to the bloodstream through a network of capillaries found under your tongue.

Still, the best CBD consumption method will depend on the type of relief you’re looking for.

Does CBD Oil Work?- It All Goes Down To Research, Proper Dosage, And Consistent Use

Many factors will affect how fast CBD works for you (or if it works at all!).

You must get high-quality CBD products as well as choose the best CBD consumption method based on the type of relief you’re looking for.

But most importantly: You must be aware that a standalone CBD dosage will hardly yield the results you’re looking for, you must be patient, do thorough research, and give the compound enough time to build up in your system.

You must also build up to your proper dosage because as you’ve seen, too much CBD will cause you to develop a tolerance, meaning a lower dosage in the future will not cut it for you. On the other hand, less than enough CBD will not achieve the desired results.
